Get Him Down
In the course of his rounds at a mental hospital, a doctor entered a patient’s room. One patient was sitting on the floor, sawing an imaginary wood in half, while another patient was danging from the ceiling by his feet.
“What are you doing?” asked the doctor to the first patient.
“Can’t you see? I’m sawing this piece of wood in half.”
“And what’s he doing?” said the doctor, pointing to the other patient.
“Oh, he’s my friend. He’s a little crazy. He thinks he’s a light bulb.”
The doctor could see that the man’s face was going red as he hung from the ceiling.”If he’s your friend, you should get him down before he hurts himself.”
“What, and work in the dark?”
